RULES

the number one thing for this site is to respect your fellow members, including the staff team. we're all here to have a bit of fun and express our creativity. if we hear of any kind of drama, the parties starting it will be removed swiftly. we do not tolerate bullying or drama of any kind.

once you sign up, you should change your character name to this format: Casey A. Boyer. your application should be posted using this format: boyer, casey anne. and please make note that your mini-profile has to be filled out before we will accept your character!

we expect every account to have the images for mini-profiles up. signature images are optional. please keep in mind that we have to follow tos, so no inappropriate images. if you have to ask, you probably shouldn't use it. please don't stretch the page either! 500px width is our max for signatures!

as a note on face claims, we would like for these to be realistic in age. we understand that some actors/actresses play much younger people, so this is something that we will take into consideration. but please, try not to push these ages differences too much. ten years is most likely going to be the absolute limit that we accept in.

no excessive cursing and don't take anything too far sexually! if you have to for a plot please do it elsewhere or fade out. everyone will get the picture, trust me. we have to stay within the proboards tos and i really don't want to screw this up so help me out on this front please and thank you. fade to black if things are getting racy! please.


we have a word count of 250+! this isn't much but we do understand that there are times when it is hard to hit a set word count. if this is the case, please don't fret. once or twice is completely acceptable. please do not make it a habit though. these characters are going to be placed into tough situations so more detail is probably better.

character limit. we technically don't have a character limit. but you must reach 10 IC posts before you can make your second character. and the same goes for each character afterwards. this is the encourage development with a few characters, especially since ranking your character up is achieved through posting.

canon characters cannot be claimed until you have reached 50 IC posts with your characters, so keep this in mind if you are interested in a canon. we want to be absolutely positive that our canons, who are leader positions, can be well played and the roles will not be abused.

though i feel as if this rule does not need to be said, we're saying it anyway. no mary sues and no god modding. we will be paying attention to things like this around the forum. its the apocalypse, so its incredibly likely that your character is going to have some serious issues. and fights, we have a ranking system for a reason. if it comes to a fight IC, there will be a dice roll which will be weighted if someone has a higher rank because that means more skills. we have a guide on dice rolls, so be sure to check it out.


activity because of the rather low word count of this site will be expected to be quite a bit. we'll be having an activity check every two months, though we'd like to see people have at least one post a week. with the low word count, this shouldn't be too much of an issue but we won't delete your account until an activity check rolls around if you haven't posted. activity earns you higher ranks anyway.
